Police are investigating a fatal accident which occurred at Fairfield, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara (ECD) killing atleast four persons on the spot.
The accident occurred at about 11:30hrs on Wednesday.
A Mahaicony resident told the News Room that a route 50 minibus crashed into a distribution truck. Both vehicles were speeding.
As a result of the accident, several persons were thrown from the minibus and onto the roadway.
