Labourer killed in early morning attack

Police are investigating the death of 32-year-old Israel Mc Kenzie who was murdered at about 03:30hrs between Second Street and Middle Road, La Penitence.

Mc Kenzie was a labourer and lived at Middle Road La Penitence.

Police Headquarters reported that Mc Kenzie was seen walking in a staggering manner on Second Street leading to Middle road La Penitence, when he was attacked by two males who fled the scene.

He received injuries to the left ears, lacerations to the neck, left arm and two suspected stab wounds to the chest. He was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
