Husband arrested after damaging wife’s property, car

Police arrested Kurleigh Goppy Tuesday night after he visited his wife’s Providence, East Bank Demerara property and damaged her car and set fire to the building.
Regional Commander, Senior Superintendent Kurleigh Simon told the News Room that Goppy visited the property and, in a fit of anger after an altercation with his wife, broke the windows to the house, damaged the car and lit a fire on the property.
The News Room understands that the couple had an ongoing domestic dispute and Goppy had moved out a while ago.
Police investigation are ongoing into the matter.
