A 24-year-old motorcyclist of #67 Village, Corentyne, Berbice, was killed in an accident on Wednesday night on the #69 Public Road, Corentyne, Berbice.
Police in a statement said Bhojram Hemraj was proceeding south along the eastern side of the road on motorcycle #MR2 at about 22:00hrs when he lost control and crashed into a wooden and metal signboard.
He was picked up by public-spirited citizens and taken to the Skeldon Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
