Turbo Football resumes Wednesday at MOE ground
The third Turbo knockout football tournament will resume on Wednesday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue, with the final match in the Round-of-16.
After a prolonged break due to inclement weather, Santos Under-20 will face Black Pearl from 18:30h.
The quarter-finals will then commence Friday with Pouderoyen clashing with Buxton Under-20 from 19:00h and Buxton Stars doing battle with Fruta Conquerors Under-20 from 21:00h.
Quarter-final action will continue Sunday, featuring Riddim Squad against Northern Rangers followed by the winner of Wednesday’s Round-of-16 match versus Georgetown Football Club.
Teams are battling for the $400,000 first prize, while second to fourth will pocket $200,000, $100,000 and $50,000 respectively. Prizes will also be awarded to the Most Valuable Player, Highest Goalscorer and Best Goalkeeper.
