Construction worker arrested for unlicensed firearm
The unlicensed firearm, a Glock 19 pistol, with seven live rounds.
Police have arrested a 25-year-old construction worker of Goedverwagting, East Coast Demerara for trying to dispose of unlicensed firearm, a Glock 19 pistol, with seven live rounds.
Police Headquarters reported that ranks acted on intelligence gathered and went to Prince William Street, Plaisance, East Coast Demerara where the construction worker was found disposing of the firearm.
He was also searched and Police found six grams of suspected cannabis.
He is being processed for court.
