East La Penitence man killed during argument over money
Police are investigating the murder of 43-year-old Richard ‘Foots’ Fresco, who was stabbed to the chest during an argument over money.
Fresco, of East La Penitence, Georgetown was killed on Monday at about 03:40hrs at Cross Street, Werk-en-Rust, Georgetown.
Police Headquarters reported that Fresco and an unidentified male were heard in a heated argument over money. This was followed by loud banging on a nearby zinc fence; Fresco’s lifeless body was later discovered next to the fence.
Police said his body was reportedly removed by persons unknown and placed on the eastern side of the street.
The body is currently at the Lyken Funeral Parlour awaiting a post-mortem.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
