Fruta Conquerors Under-20s have continued their merry outing in senior Georgetown Football Association tournaments, by winning the Turbo Energy Drink Football title on Sunday evening at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

The young lads have played to two senior tournaments and are still to succumb to a defeat.

Their latest triumph came in the straight knockout Turbo tournament where Georgetown Football Club (GFC) had their heart broken for a second consecutive time in the final.

Teammate Joshua Brathwaite was given a red card in the 26th minute when he bought down McArthur while the forward was on a solo run to goal.

Conquerors won $400,000, while GFC took home half of that amount.

The third place playoff was won by Northern Rangers 1-0 over Pouderoyen. Damian Williams 34th minute goal was the winner. The former champions won $100,000, while the West Demerara unit took home $50,000.
