A 45-year-old machine operator of Citrus Grove, Port Kaituma was on Friday charged for raping a 20-year-old woman.
Alvin Robinson called “Big Joe” was not required to plead to the charge which alleged that between January 26 and January 27,2019, at Port Kaituma, he engaged in sexual penetration with the victim without her consent.
Robinson was remanded to prison until February 3,2020.
The matter was transferred to Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan.
