Guyana’s dream run in the Concacaf Men’s U-20 Championship Qualifying continued with another win, this time over US Virgin Islands.

Playing on Friday night in Nicaragua, the Guyanese recorded their third straight victory in as many games, emerging with a 2-0 result.

Second-half goals from Omari Glasgow (54’) and Nicholas Mc Arthur (59’) secured Guyana maximum points.

The Guyanese are now level on nine points with hosts Nicaragua, who are also unbeaten, but ahead on the table on goal difference.

Guyana previously defeated Montserrat 6-0 and St. Vincent and the Grenadines 3-0. Guyana and Nicaragua face off on Sunday to decide who tops the group.
