E-Day officially declared a public holiday

Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Public Security, Mary Adams has confirmed that March 2, 2020 has been declared a public holiday as Guyana head to the polls for the general and regional elections.

Adams shared a document signed by subject Minister Khemraj Ramjattan, noting that the holiday was declared under the Public Holidays Act.

This document will then be published in Guyana’s official gazette.
