The Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga Centre in Kingston, Georgetown was on Friday morning destroyed by fire.
The building made mostly of wood is located a short distance away from the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) head office on High Street. It is used to offer various meditation courses on personal development.
The origin of the fire is so far unknown but the News Room will provide details as it becomes available.
