Guyana’s Women’s U-20 team will be action on Wednesday when they face Haiti in the quarter-finals of the Concacaf Women’s Under-20 Championship in Santo Domingo.
Guyana has enjoyed a productive championship thus far, beating Nicaragua 3-1 and Puerto Rico 2-1 before losing to group toppers Mexico 3-0 in the Group Stage.
In the Round-of-16, the Guyanese prevailed 2-0 over the Cayman Islands.
Victory against Haiti tomorrow would secure Guyana’s passage to the last four, which is slated for Friday. The grand final is fixed for Sunday.
