Police are hunting the driver of a car who struck down and killed a pedestrian on the Aubrey Barker Road in the wee hours of Saturday and then escaped.
The News Room understands that the Police are still seeking to identify the body of the male; his body is at the Lyken Funeral home.
Police said that the accident occurred at around 03:53hrs. The pedestrian received injuries to his head and body.
Investigators are said to be souring CCTV footage of the accident.
