Tuschen/Uitvlugt NDC announces measures to prevent spread of COVID-19
The Tuschen/Uitvlugt Neighbourhood Democratic Council (NDC) recognising the serious threat to public health of the COVID-19 disease has announced measures it is urging residents in the communities to abide by.
The measures announced by the NDC are:
- Restaurants and Food Stalls will not be permitted for dining or cluster of patrons but for take out/delivery service from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily until further notice
- Bars, recreational facilities, salons, barbers shops shall be closed until further notice
- Hotels may remain open but are required to close pools and spas, gyms and recreational facilities where persons cluster; hotel restaurants and bars to only operate room service, take out/delivery service
- Supermarkets, pharmacies and other business may operate from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. but are expected to adhere to the Ministry of Public Health advisory on social distancing and hand washing
The NDC has a population of over 25,000 persons.
