40 confirmed COVID-19 cases now in Guyana

As of April 10, Guyana recorded three new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 40.

The Ministry of Public Health on Friday announced that the 40 cases also include the six deaths recorded.

Three persons are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

In its daily update, the Health Ministry revealed that to date, 175 persons were tested of which 135 results are negative.

There are currently 29 persons in institutional isolation and 13 in institutional quarantine.
