As of April 11, Guyana recorded five new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 45 in less than 24 hours.
The Ministry of Public Health on Saturday announced that the 45 cases also include the six deaths recorded.
The Ministry did not list anyone in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
In its daily update, the Health Ministry revealed that to date, 193 persons were tested for COVID-19.
There are currently 31 persons in institutional isolation and 13 in institutional quarantine.
