Guyana has recorded two new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of cases to 47 as of April 13, 2020.
The Ministry of Public Health in its daily update Monday revealed that five persons are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), which is an increase of two.
Thus far 213 persons have tested for the disease of which there are 166 negative results.
Thirty-three persons are in institutional isolation and 19 are in institutional quarantine.
Of the total number of confirmed cases, six persons have died.
