A lone gunman is being sought by Police in Linden for the gunning down of Glenroy Chapman known as ‘G’ on Monday night.
Regional Commander Hugh Winter told the News Room that the shooting occurred between 18:00hrs and 18:30hrs in front of Chapman’s house at Lot 130 Half Mile in Wismar Linden.
The Commander said Chapman, who was a clothes vendor, was sitting with a friend outside the house when the masked gunman walked up and opened fire.
“The target was him because several shots were fired towards them and the other person managed to escape,” the Police Commander said.
The News Room understands that Chapman leaves to mourn his wife and eight children.
Police are still trying to ascertain the motive of the murder.
