COVID-19: 15 recoveries, no new cases in two days

As of April 27, Guyana’s known COVID-19 cases remained at 74 with no new cases being recorded since April 25.

There are now 15 persons who have recovered from the deadly virus while five persons remain in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit of the Georgetown Public Hospital.

The Ministry of Public Health on Monday revealed that a total of  464 persons were tested of whom 390 are negative.

Twenty-four persons remain in institutional quarantine and 51 are in isolation.

The number of deaths in Guyana is eight; this means there are only 54 active cases of the disease in Guyana.
