Empower Guyana donates relief packages

The Empower Guyana Consultancy is currently engaged in the endeavour of preparing and delivering packages of relief, hygiene and sanitation supplies to a number of families across the Regions of Guyana. Moreover, these supplies are also provided to Children and Elderly Homes across the country.

This endeavor is in keeping with the humanitarian mandate enshrined in our mission statement. It is contemplated and anticipated that these efforts would yield some tangible impact in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Particularly, we are concerned with the preparedness and response capacity of vulnerable families, communities and institutions.

The consultancy wishes to note that so far packages of relief have been distributed in Regions 3, 4 and 10. As further resources are mobilized, the consultancy is confident that the distribution would be able to reach all the Regions of Guyana. (Empower Guyana press release)
