A 27-year-old man is in a critical condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital after he was shot four times by a friend during an argument over a motorcycle at Last Street Cummings Park, ‘E’ Field Sophia on Friday night.
Seon London, a handyman of Da Silva Street, Newtown Kitty received gunshot wounds to the left cheeks, two to the left side of his head and one to the right side buttocks.
The News Room understands that the shooting occurred at about 18:50h.
Reports indicate that London approached the suspect on a motorcycle and they were engaged in a conversation during which the suspect whipped out a gun and shot London.
London ran north along the ‘E’ Field Sophia access road and the suspect pursued him and continued to fire shots.
London subsequently sought refuge in a yard and the suspect escaped.
