Police have arrested a 37-year-old resident of Den Amstel, West Coast Demerara who was caught with 2,018 grams of Cannabis which were concealed in ten dried coconuts.
Police Headquarters in a brief statement noted that the man was caught at around 09:15h at the Bartica Stelling.
“The suspect’s belongings were searched and a total of 2,018 grams of the prohibited substance was found concealed in ten dried coconuts; he is being processed for court,” the Police report noted.
