One new case of COVID-19, total now stands at 117
As of May 16, Guyana recorded one new case of the Coronavirus bringing the total number of known cases to 117.
The Ministry of Public Health on Saturday revealed that 24 additional persons were tested within the last 24 hours; the total number of persons now tested is 1,089.
The number of deaths remains at 10; two persons are in the COVID-19 ICU, 64 persons are in institutional isolation, five are in institutional quarantine and 43 persons have now recovered.
This means there are 64 active COVID-19 cases in the country.
