Efforts are being made to rescue a male who is trapped in the elevator at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre after it malfunctioned on Monday evening.
The Guyana Fire Service, an ambulance and a police car rushed to the scene just after 19:00hrs in an attempt to rescue the person.
