The Peoples Progressive Party (PPP) is ahead by 14, 317 votes, the tabulation of the recount figures at the end of Saturday showed.
The PPP registered 220, 073 votes while APNU+AFC had 205, 756.
ANUG, TNM and JLP, the parties which joined their lists for the allocation of Parliamentary and Regional Seats, had a combined total of 5, 065.
The vote recount should be completed on Sunday with just 74 boxes left to be counted.
