A 60-year-old man died on Saturday after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed on the Industry Public Road, Corentyne Berbice on Saturday afternoon.
Dead is Ganga Persaud Shivdyall of Fyrish Village, Corentyne Berbice.
Police Headquarters revealed that Shivdyall was proceeding east along the northern carriageway of the road when he lost control of motorcycle # CF 2415.
He received injuries about the body and was picked up in unconscious condition and taken to the New Amsterdam Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The body is presently at the hospital’s mortuary awaiting a post mortem examination.
