BREAKING: Fire destroys bodywork shop in Lusignan

Firefighters are battling a fire in Dentist Street Lusignan, East Coast Demerara which has completely destroyed the Shivo Bodywork shop.

The News Room understands that the fire started at around 08:20h while employees were on the premises.

Reports indicate that several vehicles were at the workshop at the time; the cause of the fire is not yet known.

The News Room’s Avenash Ramzan, who is on the scene, reported that the raging fire is now threatening neighbouring houses.
