Budding Guyanese all-rounder Kevin Sinclair will now be managed by Vitae Sports. This announcement came on Thursday with the company stating how it believes Sinclair will reach the next level.

Vitae Sports, in a social media post, stated, “Vitae Sports are delighted to announce top young Guyana Cricket Board and West Indies Cricket prospect Kevin Sinclair has joined the company.”

Former Guyana fast bowler Kevin Darlington of Vitae Sports said: “Kevin is a very humble man whose dedication and hunger is evident in his work ethics.

“We have got every faith he can reach the highest level and we look forward to helping him on his journey.”

Pakistani international cricketer Azhar Ali, Leeward Islands Hurricanes’ Amir Jangoo, USA’s Karima Gore and Guyana Jaguars Head Coach Esuan Crandon are just some of the other signings by the management group.

Vitae Sports seeks to “maximise your potential to play year-round on the world’s greatest cricketing stages.”

Part of the package includes Career Management (Men/Women/Coaches ), T20 Specific Worldwide Contracts, Commercial, Media Opportunities, Sponsorship and Merchandise and Franchise Recruitment.

For Sinclair it is a big move, as he seeks to make his make on the global stage.

“It’s a great feeling to be a part of them and in terms of the signing it will be a big impact on me going forward as I would be able to get opportunities in different leagues around the globe,” he related to News Room Sport.

The off-spinning all-rounder, who rose to prominence during last year’s Regional Super50 where he played a significant role in helping West Indies Emerging Players to title honours, is keen on ensuring his fitness stays on par despite the current lack of on-field activities.

“During this period, I take some time to reflect on my technique. [International Batting Coach] Toby Radford has been working with me and sharing some key points, so it is just me putting in the work and executing on the field. During this period, I am focusing on fitness and improving my technique.”

Sinclair has been signed as an Emerging Player by the Guyana Amazon Warriors for this year’s Caribbean Premier League, tentatively slated to commence on August 19.

The 20-year-old has played six First-Class matches for Guyana Jaguars and nine List-A games for West Indies Emerging players.
