Guyana on June 12 recorded one new COVID-19 case from an additional seven persons who were tested in the past 24 hours.
The total number of known cases is now 159, including 12 deaths. Three more persons have recovered bringing the total number of recoveries to 95; this means there are 52 active COVID-19 cases in institutional isolation, including one in ICU and 22 in institutional quarantine.
To date, the total number of persons tested is 1, 927 with the number of negative cases being 1,768.
