The gazette COVID-19 measures prevent the gathering of more than five persons.
The News Room understands that approximately 150 persons were present at the cockfight which took place at the Port Mourant Race Course around midday on Sunday.
The Police subsequently received information and made the arrest.
Additionally, a horse race was also held earlier in the day at the same location, but by the time the Police received word the gathering had dispersed.
