Six new COVID-19 cases, five persons in ICU

Guyana on July 12, 2020 recorded six new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 297.

The total number of recoveries now stands at 154 with six new recoveries on Sunday.

Of the 3,252 tests done so far, 2, 955 are negative.

There are 126 persons in institutional isolation and 20 persons in institutional quarantine. Five patients are in the COVID-19 ICU at the Georgetown Public Hospital.

The 17th COVID-19 related death was recorded on July 11.
