8 new COVID-19 cases take total to 360

Guyana on July 25 recorded eight new COVID-19 cases taking the overall known cases to 360.

The number of deaths remains at 20 and a total of 180 persons have recovered. This means that there are 160 active cases in institutional isolation including four persons in the COVID-19 ICU at the Georgetown Public Hospital.

A total of 33 persons are in institutional quarantine.

The number of tests done to date is 4,188 of which 3,827 are negative.

The Ministry of Public Health has refused to indicate where the new cases were recorded.

    If they are refusing to state the location sunpley means it’s either not true or they don’t have accurate cases
