Two new COVID-19 cases, total now at 398

Guyana on July 29, 2020 recorded two new COVID-19 cases within 24 hours from 85 tests. The total number of cases now stands at 398.

With 20 deaths and 185 recoveries, there are 193 active cases including three persons in the COVID-19 ICU.

There are 35 persons in institutional quarantine. To date, a total of 4,563 tests were conducted of which 4,165 were negative.

The Ministry of Public Health on Wednesday did not reveal where the new cases were recorded.

Regions Nine and Seven have recorded a spike in cases and are the country’s COVID-19 hotspots.

    Any reason why the did not indicate where the 10 cases came from ! Is it because they are from regions 4 & 10??
