Dr Frank Anthony is expected to be sworn in as the Minister of Public Health Wednesday afternoon.
Dr Anthony served as the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport in the last PPP Government.
Dr Anthony received his MD from the Russian Peoples Friendship University and MPH from the Hebrew University, Israel.
Dr Anthony was the Executive Director of the Health Sector Development Unit, Ministry of Health.
As the Executive Director, he was responsible for the GoG/IDB Health Sector Reform Program, GoG/IDB Basic Nutrition Program, World Bank HIV Prevention and Control Program and the Global Fund HIV, TB and Malaria grant.
Dr Anthony’s interests are in Health Systems, Health Administration, Health Legislation, Health Policy and Epidemiology.
