Police are investigating the murder of 36-year-old Seon Grant, a Pork-knocker, who was stabbed to death during a fight with another man in the wee hours of Thursday at Nine Miles, Mahdia in Region Eight.
Police in a statement said that a 20-year-old chainsaw operator of Port Kaituma, Northwest District is in Police custody.
According to the Police, Grant – originally of De Kinderen, West Coast Demerara – and the accused were at a shop consuming alcohol; they both left at around 01:30h and the accused while walking through the trail with his older brother, was attacked by Grant.
