Guyana on August 9 recorded 14 new COVID-19 cases bringing the total number of known cases to 568.
The 14 new cases include seven males and seven females. With 189 recoveries and 22 deaths, the total number of active cases is now 357 including four persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit.
Between Saturday to Sunday, Guyana recorded 30 new cases. There are 47 people in institutional quarantine and to date, 5,280 persons have been tested.
