Guyana on August 11th 2020 recorded a total of 602 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
Thirty-four new cases were recorded on Tuesday and a total of 98 cases were recorded within the last four days.
There are 391 persons in institutional isolation including four persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Forty-nine persons are in institutional quarantine and the number of recoveries remains at 189.
To date 5, 366 COVID-19 tests have been done and 22 persons have died.
According to the Ministry of Health, 51% of the cases are males and 49% are females.
