President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in has issued congratulations to President Irfaan Ali on his election as the ninth executive president of Guyana.
In a letter to Ali, the Korean President noted that since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1968, the two countries have continued to nurture amicable and cooperative ties.
“I believe that during your term in office the solid cooperation between our two nations and the bonds of friendship between our peoples will indeed be even further deepened,” the letter stated.
The South Korean Leader said: “I have every confidence that under your distinguished leadership, the Co-operative Republic of Guyana will continue to thrive and prosper.”
