Police hunt for returning Guyanese who tested positive for COVID-19

The Police and Health officials in Region 6, East Berbice Corentyne are seeking the whereabouts of Jagdeo Mohan who recently returned to Guyana and has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.

The individual, who hails from Number 74 Village gave his address as Number 77 Village when he arrived in Guyana. Authorities are unable to contact him on the telephone number he provided to immigration officials.

The Police in Berbice were contacted to assist the health officials in locating him and since Monday, a search has been ongoing.

Those who arrive in Guyana on repatriation flights are supposed to be in home quarantine for seven days.
