Torginol CPL Chat to complement E-Networks broadcast

For the second year in succession, the Torginol CPL Chat will be hosted as a precursor to every Guyana Amazon Warriors game, the semi-finals and championship game of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020.

The Chat will complement E-Networks’ exclusive broadcast of all 33 matches, from August 18 to September 10.

The first show, lasting 30 minutes, is slated to start at 09:00h today and will be co-hosted by News Room’s Sport Editor Avenash Ramzan and Senior Sport Journalist Akeem Greene.

An hour late, the Guyana Amazon Warriors, five-time losing finalists, will take on the League’s most successful franchise, three-time winners Trinbago Knight Riders, in the opening game of the 2020 edition.

Last season the show was a huge success with the team hosting episodes live at Providence during the Warriors home games and Playoff matches, as well as in-studio for the Warriors away matches.

This season, all shows will be hosted in-studio and will be aired on E2, SKAR TV and social media platforms. As was the case last year, there will be in-depth analysis, interviews, head-to-head clashes, statistics and much more.
