Ramkarran appointed Advisor to Foreign Minister on border issues

Leader and founding member of A New and United Guyana (ANUG) Ralph Ramkarran has been appointed as an advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs on Border Issues.

The appointment of Ramkarran – a former Speaker of the National Assembly – was announced by the Office of the President Saturday morning.

The President’s Office noted the following: Senior Counsel Mr. Ralph Ramkarran, and founding member of ANUG, is no stranger to the Guyana/Venezuela territorial dispute. From 1994, Mr. Ramkarran was appointed Guyana’s facilitator in Guyana/Venezuela Border UN Good Officer process.

He also continued to serve on the Ministerial Team for the Guyana/Venezuela Border Dispute from 1994 to present. Mr. Ramkarran also served as Speaker of the National Assembly.

    Good for PPP…..notice all the names that are not particularly PPP……they have one thing in common….they were pro-democracy and anti-nonsense.
