Manoj Narayan is expected to be sworn in this morning as a new Commissioner on the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM). Narayan, an Attorney-at-law will be representing the People’s Progressive Party/Civic on the seven-member commission.
The News Room understands that Narayan will be sworn in at State House by President Irfaan Ali.
He will be replacing Mr Robeson Benn who resigned from GECOM after he was appointed Minister of Home Affairs.
