A total of 41 new COVID-19 cases were recorded on Sunday bringing the overall number of cases to 1,853 including 56 deaths.
Of the new cases, 26 were recorded in Region One, one in Region Three, 12 in Region Four, one in Region Eight and one in Region Nine.
So far, there have been 1,215 recoveries while 15 persons are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
According to the Ministry of Health’s dashboard, 567 persons are in isolation including 55 in institutional isolation and 512 on home isolation.
A total of 10,920 persons have been tested for COVID-19 to date.
Meanwhile, there are 87 persons in institutional quarantine.
