Scotiabank temporarily closes Carmichael St. branch after positive COVID-19 case

The management of Scotiabank has taken a decision to temporarily close its Carmichael Street branch until further notice after one of its employees tested positive for COVID-19.

In a notice, the company said “enhanced protocols have been implemented” following the positive test results.

“We have been informed that one of our employees at the Carmichael Street Branch, who has been quarantined since exhibiting symptoms, has tested positive for the coronavirus. Our colleague is now under the medical supervision of the Ministry of Health,” the bank said.

Scotiabank is urging its customers to use its online platform to conduct business by following the guidelines at gy.scotiabank.com.
