Guyana has recorded 47 new COVID-19 cases bringing the overall known cases to 2,772 of which 1,120 persons are home and institutional isolation.
There are 12 persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit while 890 persons are isolated at home and 230 are in a medical institution.
Region One recorded one new case, Region Three recorded four new cases, Region Four now has 32 additional cases, Region Six recorded six more cases, Region Seven with two and Region Nine with two more cases.
Additionally, there are 75 persons in institutional quarantine while the number of persons who have recorded is now at 1,564.
The number of deaths is at 78 but the Health Ministry’s dashboard does not reflect the two women who died Sunday.
The number of persons tested to date is 13,589.
