Non Pareil man nabbed with gun, ammunition

Police on Sunday arrested a 21-year-old man of Non Pareil, East Coast Demerara after he was found in possession of a .38 Revolver and six (6) live matching rounds on the Coldingen Public Road.
Police said ranks were on patrol on the said public road about 20:30hrs when they observed the suspect standing on the roadway acting in a suspicious manner.
The ranks decided to search the man and they found the firearm and ammunition concealed in his right-side pants waist.
The man is due to appear in court shortly.
