Guyana recorded 35 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday with the majority in Region Four.
Region Three recorded three new cases, Region Four recorded 31 new cases and Region Seven has one new case.
There are 14 persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit and the total number of known cases in the country is now 2,929. There are 142 persons in institutional isolation and 931 persons in home isolation.
Thus far, 1,750 persons have recovered and the number of deaths is at 82 while 101 persons are in institutional quarantine.
A total of 14,309 persons have tested so far for COVID-19.
