Albouystown man on the run after chopping wife to death
The Police are on the hunt for a man who chopped his reputed wife to death on Tuesday morning.
Dead is 28-year-old Clarabel Johnson, a vendor of Lot 142 Cooper Street Albouystown, Georgetown.
Police Headquarters in a statement said that the couple, who lived together, were involved in an argument at around 06:25h during which the suspect chopped the woman to her right foot behind her knee with a cutlass.
She was subsequently picked up by neighbours and rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital where she died while receiving treatment at around 07:21h.
