Guyana’s COVID-19 death toll climbed to 95 on Tuesday following the death of a 61-year-old female from Region Four who died while receiving care at a medical facility.
The Ministry of Health in a statement said the woman was tested for the disease prior to her death.
The woman’s death followed closely after a 67-year-old man –also of Region Four –who died from COVID-19 related complications on Tuesday.
The Ministry has reported five COVID-19 deaths in the past 24 hours and this is the 13th for the month so far.
